Mika Nakashima「MTV Unplugged」that took place just a few days ago on January 10th will get its CD/DVD/Bluray on March 30th. Prior to being released physically, the premium live will be aired on MTV Japan on February 27th and 29th.
There will be 3 versions available : a regular CD version, and two limited editions that will come with a DVD or a Bluray recording of the show.

It has been announced today that a tribute album to celebrate Mika’s 15th anniversary since debut would be released on February 24th 2016.

Several artists recorded covers of Mika’s hits, including HYDE (L’Arc-en-Ciel, VAMPS) who will sing « GLAMOROUS SKY [ENGLISH VER.] », « Yuki no Hana » will be done by Fujii Fumiya, « Ichiban Kirei na Watashi wo » by the group Tamashii, Miyuki Nakajima will sing her self composed song « Ai Kotoba », etc…

There will be two versions : a regular and a limited. The latter will come packaged in a special box and will come with an original rubber coaster made in celebration of the 15th anniversary.

On November 11, was the first live of Nakashima’s new project « MIKA RANMARU » held at Shinjuku LOFT.

Nakashima Mika had previously announced planning a concert to commemorate the 15th anniversary since debut, and surprised all of her fans, and not her fans only, because this time, the celebration would be a surprise live. MIKA RANMARU is composed of Nakashiima’s tour guitarist Tsuchiya Kohey (Street Sliders) as well as two other members, at the drums Ikehata Junji (THE ROOSTERS, HEATWAVE, ROCK’N’ROLL GYPSIES, DeeDeeFever etc.), Ebinuma Takashi at bass makes of this quatuor a powerful lineup.

Despite the sudden live announcement, tickets sold out as soon as they went on sale, which made a packed venue immediately after the doors open. As soon as you entered the venue and followed the stairs of the live house entrance, you could see a line of fans forming. You could feel theoverflowing enthusiasm of the fans who were looking forward to what was going to happen. A Rock DJ was also here to warm up the audience until the curtain rise.

Nakashima does not disappoint and it’s always difficult to know what’s going to happen next. What awaits us next? It goes without saying that you should keep an eye on the singer!
